Buttons Preschool has been caring for children in Ramsgate for over 25 years and we are now pleased to be part of the family of services offered at The Corner, run by Thanet Community Churches.
We provide a happy, friendly and stimulating preschool environment where all children can grow and develop.
Buttons Preschool has purpose-built early years facilities including a garden so that your children can freeflow and choose their activities whatever the weather. We have a constantly changing curriculum and fantastic resources and equipment to inspire and encourage your children to learn and thrive with us.
During the preschool day, we provide a well structured and varied range of activities including story telling, creative and sensory activities and opportunities to develop physical skills too.
We love to partner with parents and carers, and keep you up to date with what your children are experiencing and learning via the online Tapestry app. You are always welcome to talk to us about what your children needs or anything else you want to share.
Our manager Jade and our fantastic team of dedicated and experienced staff are all EYFS trained and able to provide the highest standards of care and education for your children. Our team are Paediatric First Aid trained and hold other qualifications in Safeguarding and food hygiene etc.

We offer up to 15 or 30 hours of funded sessions for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.
Buttons is registered to provide Free Early Years Education. Under the FEE scheme, all children aged 3 and 4 are eligible for a 'free place' the term after their third birthday. Early years learning is provided for sessions which amount to either 15 or 30 hours weekly. Extra sessions can also be booked and are charged as below.
We also accept 'Free for 2' funding for 2 year olds. For more information on funding, please visit 'Childcare Choices' or Kent County Council's Childcare website.
We also offer limited spaces for the 'Working Parent Entitlement' scheme. Please get in contact with us to discuss this.
For those who are required to pay, our fees are:
£19 per session (3 hours)
£38 per full day (9am-3.30pm) including lunch cover
£2.50 for lunch if all day session is covered by free entitlement hours.
